What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days
Due to the influx of tropical warm air currents from the territories of Iraq, a high thermal background has formed throughout the republic. On September 1, temperatures in the low-lying areas of the republic, particularly in the Ararat Valley and its foothills, the valleys of Syunik, and in Yerevan, are expected to reach +38 to +40 degrees Celsius.
During these days, a high fire hazard situation is anticipated across the entire territory of the republic. We urge the population to adhere to fire safety regulations.
On September 1-2 and 5, dry weather is expected throughout the territory of the republic. Rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in certain regions on September 3-4, with the possibility of hail in some areas. The air temperature is expected to gradually decrease by 9-11 degrees Celsius on September 3-4.
In Yerevan, dry weather is expected from September 1-5.
