The advisor to the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Vardan Avetisyan, provides explanations regarding the decision to bring one of the graves of soldiers who died in the 44-day war in line with the established general standards at the Yerablur Military Pantheon.
Today, the parents and relatives of the fallen soldier gathered near the government to demand clarification on why their son’s grave was demolished. The father of the fallen soldier, Roman Gevorgyan, stated that they were at Yerablur the previous night, and the tombstone was in place, but today it was taken apart and removed. He emphasized that he had received special permission from the previous and current Ministers of Defense, as well as from other responsible bodies, for its installation.
