"After the war, many straight out told me—look, blame the authorities, and you’ll get the corresponding financial opportunities. Declare that the authorities have sold these lands and say that the war was lost from the very beginning, and you won’t have a problem with anything. We will take care of your life, and we will ensure your security from everything," said Artsrun Hovhannisyan, former spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Defense and reserve colonel, during today’s broadcast on Public Television.

When asked who told him this, Hovhannisyan replied that it was not important.
