Video: Minister of Justice Did Not Respond to Questions Regarding Syunik

On August 27, Minister of Justice Karen Andreasian did not provide a legal response to a journalist's question regarding whether the sections of the Kapan-Goris interstate highway closed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces belong to Armenia or, as claimed by Azerbaijan, to them.

"The addressees of the question are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and military departments. However, the Prime Minister has repeatedly mentioned the necessity of demarcation and delimitation. Without resolving the issues of border demarcation, it would not be appropriate to provide a legal response to your question today, and I cannot comment further," the minister said, refusing to elaborate on the matter, citing that it falls outside of his jurisdiction.
