Driver Who Hit and Abandoned 80-Year-Old Man in Abovyan Found

On August 26, an accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Shamshyan.com reports that around 8:30 PM, 52-year-old Vrej A. from the Kotayk region hit 80-year-old Azat H. from Abovyan city with his VAZ 21013 vehicle, then left the scene without providing assistance.

The victim was transported to the Abovyan medical center with an extremely serious diagnosis. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.

According to the website's information, police have located the vehicle, which had traces of the accident on it. Following the investigator's decision, it has been moved to a special area under the jurisdiction of the Kotayk police department, while the driver has been taken to the department for questioning.
