22-Year-Old Driver Hits Pedestrian with Opel in Yerevan, Collides with Another Vehicle; Pedestrian Dies on Scene

On August 27, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 08:40, on Babajanyan Street in the Avan administrative district, near the Traditional Medicine University-Medical Center, 22-year-old Artavazd Andreasyan drove his Opel Vectra and struck a pedestrian, a man aged 55-60 whose identity has yet to be determined. Following the collision with the pedestrian, Andreasyan also collided with an Opel Zafira driven by 63-year-old Ashot Adamyan, a resident of Yerevan.

According to Shamshyan.com, the pedestrian died on the spot. The police and investigative division are currently working to establish the identity of the deceased. Both drivers underwent sobriety tests at the scene, which confirmed that they were sober.
