Video: Security Personnel Push Out Journalists Covering Parliament Session

During a scuffle between ruling and opposition MPs in the National Assembly, the Special Police Forces (PPD) personnel forcibly pulled and shoved journalists out of the media area to prevent them from filming the altercation. It should be noted that tensions have been high in the National Assembly since yesterday. The situation escalated following a question from Anna Mkrtchyan, an MP from the ‘Honorary Title’ faction, and today, after an address by Haik Sargsyan, an MP from the ‘Civil Contract’ faction, bottles were thrown, leading to the physical confrontation.
