I now admit that I made a mistake by not disclosing the entire context of the Nagorno-Karabakh negotiation process inherited in 2018. I can accept that as a mistake. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in parliament while responding to a question from Armineh Kyureghyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction.

The lawmaker inquired when Pashinyan realized that defeat documents had been handed to him and questioned why he did not inform the public about it afterwards. She asked, 'Do you acknowledge that you are the government that led the country to defeat, and that you are accountable and the main culprit?'

Pashinyan noted that he had communicated that he was the number one responsible party and the guilty one after the war. 'I have said dozens of times that we fought until the last moment. I proposed a solution: let the people judge us. We went to the people, and they judged us. The treatment has been mild or otherwise, but we have facts,' he stated.

He added that issues related to the Artsakh war should be examined by an investigative committee formed in the National Assembly. 'Now you are asking if I am guilty. Yes, I am guilty. You ask if I am responsible. Yes, I am responsible. Was that defeat during my tenure? Yes, it occurred during my tenure. What conscience do I have standing here? I am here as a result of the decision of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia,' Pashinyan remarked.
