VIDEO: I Was Hit in the Forehead, My Shirt Was Torn, Says Artsvik Minasyan

The head of the State Protection Service has committed a crime not only by giving instructions but also by directly engaging in the use of disproportionate force. This was stated today, August 24, by Artsvik Minasyan, the secretary of the 'Armenia' parliamentary faction, during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly.

"Using disproportionate force and inappropriate behavior, they tried to remove Anna Mkrtchyan from the hall, to which I opposed by loudly stating that this was contrary to the decision made by the opposition, and that the deputy would voluntarily comply with the measures taken; however, they not only did not back down but also attacked me. I was hit by the head of the SPS and several employees. My shirt was torn, and I received hits to my forehead and legs. This should be accepted as an official report of a crime. All of this is evidence that we are dealing with a criminal group," said Minasyan.

Earlier, we reported that today Nikol Pashinyan is presenting the government program in the National Assembly. During the meeting, tensions escalated when Anna Mkrtchyan's microphone was turned off for using the term 'capitulator.' Some members of the ruling faction responded to Mkrtchyan's comments, after which security personnel invited her to leave the meeting hall. In the meantime, a dispute and scuffle broke out among the deputies.
