Video: Merkel's Phone Call Interrupts Putin's Speech
A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel took place in Moscow. Putin emphasized that this is a farewell visit, but also a constructive one, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Putin's welcoming remarks were interrupted by a phone call that rang out in the hall, as the chancellor had forgotten to turn off her phone. Continuing, Putin stated, 'We are constantly in telephone communication.'
It's worth noting that this marks Merkel’s final visit to Moscow during her tenure as Chancellor of Germany.
