The US Embassy in Ankara has released a statement denying claims that there is an agreement between US President Joe Biden and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding Afghan refugees and immigrants.

"The US Embassy wishes to announce that the claims suggesting a 'consensus' or 'negotiation' has taken place between President Biden and President Erdogan concerning Afghan refugees or immigrants are completely unfounded," the embassy's statement said.
