Turkish Air Force Strikes Yazidi Commander's Vehicle in Sinjar City Center, Resulting in His Death
Yesterday, the Turkish Air Force struck the vehicle of a Yazidi commander in the center of Sinjar city, resulting in the commander’s death. His cousin was also in the vehicle at the time. The incident left three civilians injured. This was announced by Rustam Bakoyan, a member of parliament and a representative of the Yazidi community in the National Assembly, during a session.
According to Bakoyan, this marks the third Yazidi commander to be killed in airstrikes by the Turkish Air Force. He stated, “The Turkish incursion into this region demonstrates their concern that a security zone will be formed here, which will not serve Turkish interests. However, we will not retreat from our goals, whether this pleases the Turks or not, we will build our country.”
