Aliyev Announces Legal Actions Against Foreign Companies Operating in Artsakh

Azerbaijan has already initiated legal procedures against companies involved in the exploitation of gold mines in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to the regions of Karvachar and Kashatagh, according to TASS.

"Legal processes have already begun. We started, we have invited internationally renowned law firms, and they are currently preparing the lawsuits," said Aliyev.

He noted that foreign companies have exploited the gold mines in the regions of Karvachar, Kovsakan, and other areas. "Now they will answer," Aliyev stated.

According to him, these companies have two options: either pay compensation or respond in an international court.
