Tigran Abrahamyan: Tensions Reported at Least in Three Critical Border Areas

Official reports indicate that today there has been significant tension in at least three critical areas along the border. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the 'I Have Honor' parliamentary faction, on his Facebook page.

“As a result, we have thwarted an Azerbaijani diversion towards the Sevan Lake area (Syunik), while clashes near Yeraskh (Ararat) and Kut (Gegharkunik) have led to the loss of two Armenian servicemen.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, there are also casualties on the Azerbaijani side, although this has not been officially confirmed by Baku. Unforeseen events continue to unfold in various sections of the border. Unfortunately, diplomatic discussions between the sides in ‘different languages’ suggest new developments at the border,” Abrahamyan wrote.
