Enemy Responds to Our Defense Minister's Showmanship: Babken Harutyunyan

Recently, the Minister of Defense issued a demonstrative command to fire at the enemy if they attempted to enter Armenian territory. Certainly, this should have been the case without the need for such an order; however, it has not been, which is why Azerbaijani troops have already occupied Armenian territories in Syunik and Gegharkunik for several months (with the international community remaining silent).

Babken Harutyunyan, a member of the 'Homeland' party, wrote this on his Facebook page. “Today, the enemy attempted to advance their positions and suffered one casualty, shortly after which we had two casualties. In this way, the enemy responds to our defense minister's showmanship, provoking a new wave of tension, which does not serve the interests of the Armenian side at this moment. Therefore, it was necessary to act not with showmanship so that the enemy would not be compelled to respond demonstratively, but rather to quietly and efficiently eliminate every soldier of the enemy attacking our borders,” Harutyunyan stated.
