Armenian Citizens Rank Third in Number of Trips to Georgia

The National Tourism Administration of Georgia reports that in July of this year, Russians visited the country more than 25,000 times. This number is six times higher than during the same period last year. According to TASS, it has been noted that the tourist flow to Georgia has not fully recovered.

From January to July 2021, the number of Russian tourists was about 69,000, which is a decrease of 63.2% compared to the previous year's figures, the agency reports. In this regard, Russian tourists rank second only to citizens of Turkey, who visited the country 158,000 times. Armenians occupied the third place, with 67,000 visits during the same period.
