Major Car Accident in Kotayk Region: BMW Collides with Veolia Water Niva, Flips Over

Today, on August 10, a major car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 14:30, vehicles driven by Artak Hakobyan, a BMW, and Mikayel Hovhannisyan, a VAZ 2121, collided in the administrative area of Proshyan village.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, the Niva flipped over. Fortunately, there are no reported injuries.

Emergency services quickly arrived from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, with the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Unit No. 7 responding with one firefighting unit. The rescuers disconnected the power from the vehicles, shut off the gas cylinder valves, and cordoned off the area.
