Fire Erupts at 'Jrvej' Forest Park
On August 10, at 18:23, the Kotayk regional crisis management center received a report that a fire broke out in the 'Jrvej' forest park. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
Two firefighting squads from the Emergency Situations National Service's Yerevan rescue department, along with a standby group from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Division, were dispatched to the scene. A '1 BIS' alarm for fire complexity has been declared, prompting the dispatch of two additional firefighting squads from the Yerevan rescue department.
The fire complexity level was raised to a '2' alarm, leading to the deployment of four more firefighting squads from the Yerevan rescue department and a rescue team from the Special Purpose Rescue Operations Implementation Center.
