School Break Dates Announced: Minister Signs Order

By the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan, the break dates for the 2021-2022 academic year for educational institutions implementing general, specialized, and special state programs have been established.

This year, academic classes in institutions conducting primary general (general, specialized, special) state programs will commence on September 1 and conclude on May 27, 2022, for a five-day work week, and on May 30 for a six-day work week. This ensures at least 30 academic weeks for the first grade, 32 for the second, and 34 for the third to twelfth grades.

The holidays are as follows:

• First graders: Autumn break from October 18 to 31, 2021, Winter break from December 27, 2021, to January 23, 2022, and Spring break from March 21 to April 3, 2022.
• Second graders: Autumn break from October 25 to 31, 2021, Winter break from December 27, 2021, to January 23, 2022, and Spring break from March 21 to 27, 2022.
• Grades 3-12: Autumn break from October 25 to 31, 2021, Winter break from December 27, 2021, to January 9, 2022, and Spring break from March 21 to 27, 2022.
