At around 16:30, Infocom contacted the Governor of Tavush, Hayk Galumyan, who, in response to our questions, stated: “The Prime Minister expressed this idea during a government meeting; that’s all I know. I possess limited information and specifically do not know either the numbers or the deployment locations.”

In response to a clarifying question about the deployment, Galumyan replied: “It is for the purpose of conducting monitoring; people need to have a place to stay. That’s all I can say. I have no further information; please contact the Ministry of Defense.”
