Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

Regarding the information circulated by the media about the presence of Russian troops in the Tavush region, specifically in the Voskepar community, we inform that Russian border guards are stationed in the mentioned area, and construction work is being carried out for the purpose of building infrastructure to support the border guards.

This process is being conducted within the framework of Armenian-Russian cooperation.
