Collegium Meeting at the Ministry of Defense

On August 5, a collegium meeting was held at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

During the meeting, issues related to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border situation, provocations carried out by the adversary, and measures to counter them were discussed. The Minister of Defense issued strict instructions to exclude any attempts by the adversary to advance or improve their positions.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of preparations for the winter season. Arshak Karapetyan tasked the heads of responsible units with resolving all existing issues promptly and ensuring appropriate conditions for personnel to serve fully in winter conditions.

The head of the defense department demanded that all participants in the meeting exert maximum effort to implement the reforms of the armed forces as quickly and effectively as possible.
