3rd Army Corps Appoints New Commander

The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has signed a decree appointing a new commander for the 3rd Army Corps.

“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal and in accordance with part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as part 1 of Article 35.1 and point 1 of part 1 of Article 36 of the Law on Military Service and the Status of Military Servants, Alexander Tsakanian has been appointed as the commander of the 3rd Army Corps,” the decree states.
