Knyaz Hasanov: That Man is Not Someone You Can 'Command'

The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports: 'For Knyaz Hasanov, the oldest member of the National Assembly by age, the previous day was quite heavy. He had to lead the first session of the 8th convocation for several hours and endure the 'torments' of both the opposition and the authorities.

But he stated, 'It went well, I conducted it well, there was nothing extraordinary.' He assured that the authorities had not instructed him on anything, let alone 'commanded' him, as Ruben Rubinyan had carelessly announced from the ground.

'Rubinyan is my friend, he can come closer, talk to me, but am I that man to whom you can give orders... why are you fabricating stories?' When asked why he did not fulfill the opposition's request to invite the Prosecutor General, as the session chair he had the right to do so, he replied, 'No, there is no such thing; according to the regulations, I was supposed to carry out the protocol, which I did.' The opposition hinted that the session chair has the same rights as the Speaker of the National Assembly, asking if he had not learned that part well enough. 'I learned it very well; it was not my first time, it was my third time, I've learned it all.' After this session, is there still a desire to become a member of parliament again, so you won't have to endure such trials? 'Maybe I will die in 5 years.'
