Gagik Tsarukyan Has Halted Communication with Team Members: 'Zhoghovurd'
According to the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd', Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), has not held meetings or communicated with any of his party members during this period.
It should be noted that following the results of the snap parliamentary elections, the BHK garnered nearly four percent of the votes, failed to overcome the electoral threshold, and, for the first time in its history, did not enter the parliament.
After that, Tsarukyan announced that the party would not remain passive and called on his colleagues to become active in the autumn. However, 'Zhoghovurd' has learned that the BHK has decided to remain passive and will not participate in any municipal elections scheduled for the autumn. This is the reason for the current inactivity within the party, leading to a lack of large-format meetings among BHK members.
Moreover, the 'Kentron' television station, owned by Tsarukyan’s family, is also expected to fall under government control. This has led to layoffs at the station, with former MP Iveta Tonoyan also leaving the company. It is also known that the new management of the television station has been instructed to operate under the oversight of the authorities.
The BHK is struggling to overcome the post-electoral 'blues'.
