During the April War, the unit led by Nikol Pashinyan did not participate in combat operations, stated Seyran Ohanyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Armenia" faction and former Minister of Defense.

"They participated in certain logistical and engineering support tasks, which do not count as participation in combat operations," Ohanyan said.

He noted that for these tasks, the military command recognized and awarded a certificate to the unit headed by Pashinyan.
