Ajapnyak Deputy Mayor Attacked: Perpetrator's Identity Known

Ajapnyak Deputy Mayor Artak Hakobyan reported to the police on August 2 that he had been assaulted and sustained bodily injuries. This was confirmed in a conversation with LURER.com by the head of the police public relations and information department, Zarzand Gabrielyan.

“On August 2, at 11:55 AM, the mentioned individual reported to the Mashtots police station that on the same day at 9:00 AM, a man hit him in the face in front of building 159 on Bashinjaghyan Street, causing injuries. The identity of the perpetrator is known,” he noted.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated, and a forensic medical examination has been appointed. Preparations for further proceedings are underway.
