Academy Halts Cooperation with Former Deputy Minister Amidst Fears of Dissenting Views
The Armenian State Academy of Public Administration has terminated the employment contract with former Deputy Minister of Defense Artak Zakaryan, who has been teaching at the academy since 2003.
“A few days ago, I was informed that the Armenian State Academy of Public Administration no longer wishes to ‘cooperate’ with me. This means they refuse to sign a new employment contract with me, despite my years of service as a lecturer at the academy,” Zakaryan wrote on his Facebook page.
“Their fears have turned into terror. They are also afraid of lecturers with dissenting views in the classrooms,” he emphasized.
Zakaryan stated that he does not blame anyone for the termination of his employment contract. “Because blaming the capitulating traitors who have surrendered the country for minor issues makes no sense. It’s the same as blaming a serial killer for insignificant lying. If they don’t want me to continue teaching, as the people say, let them do what they want. God be with them. Ultimately, they will be punished for intentionally destroying the Homeland and the public administration system,” he wrote.
