Hovhannes Bachkov Secures Brilliant Victory and Advances to Semifinals, Ensuring at Least a Bronze Medal

In the quarterfinals of the boxing 63 kg weight category at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Armenia's representative Hovhannes Bachkov faced off against Elnur Abduraimov from Uzbekistan. Our boxer achieved a resounding victory with a score of 5-0.

Bachkov advanced to the semifinals, ensuring at least a bronze medal. It is worth noting that before reaching the quarterfinals, Bachkov had victories over competitors from Antigua and Barbuda as well as Azerbaijan.

In the semifinals, Bachkov will compete against American Keyshawn Davis. The semifinal bout is scheduled for August 6.
