Arman Tatoyan's Working Group Conducts Fact-Finding Activities in Gegharkunik Province
The Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan has conducted fact-finding activities in the border regions of Gegharkunik Province, Armenia. This information was reported on the Facebook page of the Human Rights Defender.
“The fact-finding activities led by the Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan are related to the violations of the rights of residents in the villages of Verin Shorja, Sotk, Kut, Norabak, Jaghatsadzor, and Geghamabak, due to the illegal actions of Azerbaijani armed forces,” the statement noted.
At the beginning of the visit, Vardenis community leader Aram Melkonyan presented important ongoing works in the city, and meetings were held with residents alongside him.
The visit took place together with Vardenis community leader Aram Melkonyan, Verin Shorja administrative district head Artyom Yeranosyan, Geghamasar community leader Hakob Avetyan, and a responsible representative from the Gegharkunik provincial administration.
