New Details Emerge on Brawl Involving Deputy Head of the State Control Service

Recently, reports surfaced in the media indicating that a brawl occurred within the building of the State Control Service (SCS) involving Deputy Head Rafael Zakaryan, his assistant, and another employee.

ArmDaily.am has obtained further details about the incident. Specifically, it has been revealed that Zakaryan and his assistant verbally abused and physically assaulted Manuk, an employee of the Procurement Control Department, inflicting serious bodily injuries.

Following the incident, SCS Head Tigran Ulikhanyan refused to meet with Zakaryan, threatening to dismiss him from his position and inform acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about the incident. However, in the end, he concealed the occurrence, and Zakaryan continues to serve in his role. As for the assaulted employee, he was silenced under the threat of dismissal.

It has also come to our attention that the head of the SCS personnel department was previously Zakaryan's assistant, and they are still maintaining their connections.

We attempted to obtain a comment from SCS Head Tigran Ulikhanyan, who asked us not to disturb him with such trivial matters. He stated, 'That is such a cheap thing. Do not bother me with matters of that nature. If there is something serious, please, I would appreciate it.'

When asked if Zakaryan comes to work, Ulikhanyan responded, 'Of course, what else would he be doing? How could a person not come to work normally.'
