Boxer Hovhannes Bachkov Starts Tokyo Olympics with Confident Victory

2018 European champion, winner of the 2019 European Games in Minsk, and bronze medalist of the World Championships in 2018 and 2019, Hovhannes Bachkov began the Tokyo Olympics with a confident victory.

In the 1/16 finals of the boxing tournament in the 63 kg weight category, he fought against Alston Ryan from Antigua and won by a unanimous decision of the judges, scoring 5:0 over three rounds. The 1/8 finals in the 63 kg weight category will take place on July 31.
