Do Russian Citizens Trust Putin? Survey Results

The Sociologists of the "Public Opinion" foundation conducted a survey among Russian citizens to gauge their attitudes towards the work of President Vladimir Putin, as reported by svpressa.ru.

According to the sociologists, the latest survey revealed that as of July 18, 58% of respondents believe that the head of state is performing quite well in his position. In contrast, 26% of those surveyed hold an opposing view. Over the past month, the approval rating of Putin's work has decreased by 4%.

Additionally, experts measured the level of trust citizens have in the president. Among survey participants, 54% indicated that they trust Vladimir Putin, while 35% stated they do not trust him. In the past week, the number of those who do not trust the head of state has increased by 2%.
