Neighboring Countries in Combat Preparedness, While We Continue to Rely on Our Partnership with Russia

The Union of Reserve Officers of the National Security Service has issued a statement: "IS ARMENIA NON-EXISTENT? From July 26 to August 6, a military exercise titled 'Agile Spirit 2021' will be held in Georgia, involving more than ten countries, including the USA, Georgia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, England, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Italy, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. More than 2,500 military personnel are expected to participate. The vast majority of the contingent, about 1,600 soldiers and officers, will be provided by Georgia's National Guard and the U.S. Marine Corps. The aim of the exercises is to enhance operational, professional, and combat readiness among the USA, Georgia, NATO, and its regional partners.

Furthermore, it was reported days ago that in early October this year, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia plan to conduct the 'Eternity' exercise, closely mimicking combat conditions. As we can see, all our neighboring countries are intensively preparing for combat, while we continue to rely solely on our military partnership with the Russians, without initiating any visible or significant steps in that direction. Moreover, forgetting about correcting the army’s fractured morale or increasing combat readiness, we are solely engaged in incomprehensible staff movements and appointments.

Overall, the impression is that Armenia, having lost its resilience, has simply transformed into a state devoid of national interests, dignity, and ideology. Our ancient, Christian land is practically disappearing from the political map of the world, ceasing to exist, and this fact is set to receive legal formalization with the signing of a contract with Azerbaijan in the near future."
