Illegal Burials Have Taken Place: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports: 'According to information we received, Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan has sent a request to the Prosecutor General's Office, stating that a number of violations have been discovered in the operations of the 'Kanaker' cemetery, which is managed by the monitoring department of the city hall. In particular, illegal burials have been conducted in the partially closed 'Kanaker' cemetery and its surrounding area, due to the employees not properly fulfilling their functional duties and engaging in activities to legalize these illegal burials. Preparations are underway regarding the mayor's request.'
