Baku Sentences Armenian War Captive Edward Dubakov: Verdict Revealed

Today, the trial of Russian citizen Edward Sergey Dubakov continued in Baku. He is accused of participating on the Armenian side in the 44-day Nagorno-Karabakh war. Dubakov presented his final remarks, stating that he does not accept his guilt and believes in the court's justice.

The court then entered a consultative chamber. Later, the court returned to announce the verdict. Accordingly, Edward Sergey Dubakov has been sentenced to ten years in prison. He will serve his sentence in a general regime prison facility, and after serving his sentence, he will be deported from Azerbaijani territory.
