Armenian Government Delegation Heads to Russia
From August 16 to September 25, an Armenian government observer group will be dispatched to Moscow to monitor the State Duma elections in the Russian Federation.
By the decision of Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the observer mission will include K. Gasparyan, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations of the Prime Minister's Office, T. Hovhannisyan, a specialist from the Department of Human Rights and Humanitarian Issues of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and T. Gevorgyan, Head of the Department of International Relations of the Central Electoral Commission.
It is worth noting that the regular elections for the State Duma in Russia will take place from September 17 to 19. According to Russian legislation, 32 parties will be able to nominate their candidates, and the deadline for candidate registration is August 4.
