A Massive Tree in Masis Number 6 Primary School Uprooted and Hung from Wires, Threatening Residents

Today, on July 22, an emergency incident occurred in the Ararat region. After midnight, due to strong winds, a gigantic tree in the yard of Masis Number 6 Primary School, located in the "Masis Station" neighborhood, was uprooted and leaned against the school’s roof and corner section.

According to Shamshyan.com, there are no injuries reported; however, at any moment, both the mentioned tree and several nearby trees could pose a danger to residents. The tree has not fallen solely due to the support of electrical wires and the roof of the house it is leaning on.

Residents informed the relevant department of the Masis City Hall about the incident early in the morning. Just a short while ago, Masis Mayor David Hambartsumyan was informed about the situation, and at his directive, a team from the city hall's greening department is arriving with special equipment to cut down and remove the tree from the school yard.
