VIDEO: Armed Police Stop Vehicles and Conduct Checks in Yerevan and Other Regions

According to information received by Auroranews, armed police officers are stopping drivers and inspecting trunks. This operation is taking place not only in Yerevan but also in other regions. Locations include the areas of Djurveji, Ashtarak, Argavand, and along the highway from Sevan to Yerevan, as well as central Yerevan on Abovyan Street, the 4th village, and other areas.

Preliminary unconfirmed information suggests that the police are searching for illegally held weapons and ammunition.

To understand what is happening and whether there is a specific reason for the execution of this series of actions, Auroranews attempted to contact the Police. However, calls went unanswered.
