Provocations Near the Yeraskh Border Aimed at Three Objectives: 'Republic of Armenia'
According to the 'Republic of Armenia', provocations in the areas adjacent to Yeraskh, the closest border point to the capital Yerevan, serve three main purposes. First, Baku aims to exert pressure on Armenia to sign a peace treaty beneficial to them. In this scenario, Aliyev stubbornly fails to understand that it is impossible to achieve a long-term peace agreement between countries by speaking from a position of military aggression and power. Furthermore, the Armenian side has all the resources and the right to respond robustly to these provocations.
The fundamental issue remains the realization of the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination. This can only be resolved through political negotiations, while attempts to solve it through military means will inevitably lead to an appropriate response after a certain period of time. The history of the Armenian people shows that both Azerbaijan and Turkey only understand the language of disproportionate hard responses.
