CEC Announces Special Session with 4 Agenda Items

On July 22, at 16:00, the Central Election Commission (CEC) will prepare a record regarding the registration of National Assembly deputies and the allocation of mandates, and will announce the date for the first session of the National Assembly. This was reported by CEC Secretary Armen Sambatyan.

The following 4 agenda items will be discussed:

  1. On the invalidation of the registration of candidates for deputies who submitted their withdrawal (resigned from their mandate) from the electoral lists of parties and party alliances that participated in the special elections of the National Assembly on June 20, 2021.
  2. Regarding the record on the registration of National Assembly deputies and the granting of mandates.
  3. On the announcement of the date for the first session of the newly elected National Assembly.
  4. On making changes to the CEC decision No. 28-A dated September 23, 2020, on setting the voting days for the regular elections of local self-government bodies in the Republic of Armenia.
