Fire in Baku: High-Rise Building is Burning

A high-rise building is on fire in the Narimanov district of Baku, which houses a shopping center. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations.

“After receiving information about the fire, the relevant rescue forces immediately went to the scene. According to preliminary reports, electrical cables are burning. Firefighting measures are underway,” the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed RIA Novosti.

According to witnesses, the building where the fire broke out also contains the “Life Center” shopping center. Firefighters involved in extinguishing the fire faced difficulties due to improperly parked vehicles near and in the yard of the residential building.
