Samvel Asatr yan on the Situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani Border

The situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is currently calm, and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia have full control over the situation. This was stated by Colonel Samvel Asatryan, head of the information department of the Army Organizational Administration, in an interview with Armenpress.

According to Colonel Asatryan, due to recent events, some media outlets are circulating panic-inducing materials regarding certain areas of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, particularly in the direction of Nakhichevan. These materials could have negative effects not only on the population but could also create certain obstacles for the operations of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are fully and responsibly executing their assigned tasks and are prepared for any developments of events, while anticipating the complete trust and support from the public,” emphasized Samvel Asatryan.
