Mercedes and Opel Collide in Kotayk: 10 Injured

A major car accident occurred in the Kotayk province on July 18. Around 21:30, Mercedes and Opel vehicles collided on the Nor Hachn bridge. According to Shamshyan, 10 people with varying degrees of injuries were transported to the Abovyan Medical Center and various hospitals in Yerevan.

First responders, including citizens and specialized rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Rapid Response Unit, quickly arrived on the scene to assist the injured. Rescuers used special equipment to extricate the Opel driver from the car.

The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured. By the order of the investigator, the vehicles, which have been turned into scrap metal, are being transported to the secured area of the Nor Hachn police department.
