All Communications in the Region Should Open Simultaneously: Aliyev's New Statement
Aliyev has stated that the opening of communications in Artsakh, which is enshrined in the trilateral declaration, should proceed in parallel. He made this statement after summarizing the results of his meeting with European Council President Charles Michel, according to RIA Novosti.
“The opening of all communications in the region should be carried out simultaneously. This will allow Armenia to establish railway communication with Russia and Iran, while for Azerbaijan, it will provide an additional route to Nakhchivan,” said Aliyev.
According to him, the four countries in the region—Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, and Turkey—support this approach, and now Armenia’s positive response is needed. Aliyev also remarked that only after this, the stability and security of the region will become a reality.
