Two Armenian Soldiers Recently Missing in Armenian Territory Found on Azerbaijani Side: MoD Comments

Two Armenian soldiers, who recently went missing on Armenian territory, have reportedly been found on the Azerbaijani side. The soldiers were lost and ended up on the Azerbaijani side. Negotiations are underway to facilitate their return to their homeland.

The Ministry of Defense informed Sputnik Armenia that they do not possess any such information. Moreover, search and rescue operations for the soldiers are ongoing.

It is worth noting that on the dawn of July 14, under foggy conditions, communication was lost with Armenian Armed Forces serviceman Arthur Nalbandyan and driver Aramais Torozyan while they were performing official duties in the southeastern direction of Armenia with a military vehicle. According to the Ministry of Defense, the soldiers were unarmed.
