Son of Syunik Governor Injured but Hidden, Has Not Sought Medical Help: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports: An armed confrontation took place two days ago in Goris between the sons of current and former governors, leading to a criminal case being opened, with two individuals recognized as victims, yet no charges have been filed and no arrests made. However, all of Syunik knows who the participants and shooters of the armed altercation are.
The key perpetrator is the son of Syunik governor Melikset Poghosyan, who fired erratically from a submachine gun, injuring two people. According to local residents, he is also injured but has not sought medical assistance and is currently in hiding.
Meanwhile, law enforcement authorities are trying to cover for him, despite one of the victims being in a coma and in critical condition. Instead, law enforcement has been diligently detaining and arresting Syunik's community leaders, specifically the mayors of Meghri and then Goris, under the same pretext of deception.
It is reported that they are told to wait nearby as the investigator is absent, only to be ambushed by masked individuals who throw them to the ground and arrest them, targeting respected local heroes in their communities. This situation illustrates how the country is gradually sinking into a legal 'lawlessness.'
