Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Receives Armenian Ambassador in Russia: Agenda Includes Nagorno-Karabakh Issues

On July 16, Sergey Vershinin, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, received Vardan Toghanyan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Russia. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, current issues on the international and regional agenda were discussed, including cooperation between Russia and Armenia on various multilateral platforms.

Special attention was given to the involvement of international humanitarian organizations and agencies within the UN system to address the issues in Nagorno-Karabakh.
