Edward Hovhannisyan Will Not Stay Without a Position

Yesterday, we received information that the President of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hovhannisyan, submitted his resignation. Moreover, he learned of this "desire" of his in the morning before the government meeting. After the meeting, according to our sources, Hovhannisyan went to the State Revenue Committee, gathered part of the staff, and announced that he was leaving. He was comforted with the assurance that he would not remain unemployed, as a new position would be offered to him. It is noteworthy that there was no real reason for this haste, as a new government is set to be formed in just about 20 days, and this could have been achieved by not including Hovhannisyan in the new government.
