Air Temperature to Reach +40…+42 Degrees, Surenyan
The Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Environment, Gagik Surenyan, has made a statement.
“Attention! The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of Armenia informs that due to the penetration of tropical hot air currents from the Sahara Desert, the air temperature across the republic will gradually increase by 14-16 degrees from July 16 to 20. On July 19-20, in the Ararat Valley and its foothills, in the foothills of Vayots Dzor, in the valley regions of Syunik, and in Yerevan, daytime temperatures will reach +40…+42 degrees.”
